La detección precoz de la pérdida auditiva es fundamental para su identificación temprana y la intervención oportuna. \nPara llegar a personas de todas las regiones y facilitar la detección sistemática por parte de personal sanitario capacitado\, la OMS ha desarrollado la aplicación WHOears. Se trata de una aplicación gratuita de detección auditiva basada en tonos para tabletas\, diseñada para ser utilizada por personal sanitario capacitado en cualquier centro de salud comunitario o de atención primaria. WHOears ofrece un protocolo de detección sencillo y estandarizado en cualquier espacio tranquilo con equipos de bajo coste. \nEste seminario web marca el lanzamiento mundial de WHOears.
