Cuando una persona es sorda, la sordera afecta a la familia y más si es un adulto quien recibe el implante. Esta charla brindará la oportunidad a que los familiares también contribuyan. Comenzará con Nikki Philpott, quien compartirá los datos de su encuesta a familiares, comentando el impacto que la sordera y el implante coclear tuvieron en ellos.

When a person is deaf, there is an impact on the family and often when an adult receives an implant, there is an impact on the family too. This conversation will give an opportunity for family members to contribute too. It will begin with Nikki Philpott sharing the results of her survey of family members, illustrating the impact that deafness and CI had on them.
